COME TAKE A WALK WITH ME!
^MIRROR
I wanted to share this slightly odd but fun(you may have to be there) thing I would do as a child, and a few times as an adult. I've called it a mirror walk. It is the analog of virtual reality, almost.
- Firstly you want to find yourself a large mirror, shape doesn't matter, you want something that when held long ways is at least as wide as your hips so you have a bigger viewing area to see your new surrounding.l, like having a VR head set, sorta.
- Secondly you should pick a spot in the house to begin and a path you'll walk that leads you outside. You want to include walking through a bedroom door, light shades or down lights, if their is anything you have on your ceiling thats interesting, put that on route too, you wana set yourself as many obstacles as you can, all ceiling related.
- Then you want to pick either your front or back door, I would suggest the one that has a roof attached to the outside of the door so (let's say if it's raining, you won't get wet as soon as you fall out, I mean step out the door. You want to have a bit of outdoor roof that leads to some grass that isn't covered and you have a clear view of the sky, which is the spot you'll end your mirror walk, on the grass looking at the sky.
- Grab your mirror and hold it like you're holding a drink tray, so you can look down and see your ceiling reflected in it. You want to keep it steady not to tip it from side to side too much. So once you've adjusted it to a decent high where you're view of the room is our of focus and you're largely just seeing your ceiling and your cornices you're ready to begin
- The aim of the wall is to not step on any of the half walls you'll have to climb over when walking through a bedroom door, or any lighting that you'll need to make sure to step around widely enough to not break any. If your ceiling is pretty basic and that's all for inside I welcome you to now make your way out your back door over the door framing and onto the outdoor ceiling which may be different to walk on.
- Now mosey on over to where your roof ends, maybe it's where your decking ends, and STOP where the ceiling stop, standing on the very edge of your outdoor ceiling, you should be seeing in your mirror half the ceiling and half of it is your sky and clouds.
- This is the big moment! Without any parachutes or safety measures you're guna look into that reflection of the sky and JUMP!
-
Fall through the sky!
how did you feel when you jumped into the sky, did you get a little feeling in your stomach at all?
Let me know if you enjoyed your mirror walk, or if anyone stumbled and fell, I Wana hear those comments too.
