Family Tree Portraits

My Family Tree - Acrylic on canvas 1500x500

This is what a typical Christmas day looks like for me, this is my mother's side of my family. I used photos of each of these 34 family members transferred onto canvas,(except the 2 newborns) so they would recognise themselves easily. The background I kept simple but we could discuss any background you may have in mind.

This is the family tree layout. Starting with the eldest to youngest they decent via age , direct descendants and generations. First Generation is my nan and her 3 sisters grouped with themselves and direct descendants, 1st in line is my nan, she is the eldest in the first generation, 2nd in line, her child, my uncle Ben is eldest of Nan's children & 3rd in line is my mum, the last in this generation within this direct descendant group is the 8th in line, my mum youngest brother; my other uncle Rob. The reason why Rob is eighth and not fifth is bcuz I am fifth following my mum, I am the eldest sibling in the third generation. Sixth is the next descendant in the second generation, so forth, my mum then me in fifth, sixth; My younger sister and then our step brother. His father is my mum's partner; Simon, Simon is 3rd standing to the left of my mum as I've arranged each partnership by man(left) and woman(right) rather than by age. Ninth in line goes back to the first generation, my great aunts partner, Robert. Tenth is second eldest great aunt(my Nan's younger sister) Maureen, then her Child then their children after each of them. This pattern continues on for the remainder of the piece.
